Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By connecting to any network, website, application, or service operated by Datacloud or its subsidiaries — including but not limited to visiting a Datacloud domain, signing in to a Datacloud application, or joining a Datacloud-connected community space — you agree to these Terms. Acceptance occurs automatically and at the earliest possible point of interaction.

2. Your Datacloud ID

Every individual is assigned a Datacloud ID automatically. You do not create one yourself.

3. Content Ownership

All files, documents, data, and other content uploaded, submitted, or otherwise provided to Datacloud become the property of Datacloud upon upload. Where full transfer of ownership is not legally possible, you grant Datacloud a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, and exclusive licence to use, store, process, and exploit such content. Datacloud is not obligated to delete uploaded content upon request, including after account closure.

4. The Collective

Certain information, activity, and content is automatically contributed, or may be submitted, to The Collective.

5. Background Services

Datacloud and its subsidiaries operate background functions across your account and connected community spaces in order to provide, secure, and improve services. These functions cannot be disabled at the account level. Visible interfaces may be limited through your dashboard.

6. Acceptable Use & Enforcement

Datacloud and its subsidiaries reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or revoke access to any service at any time, without notice, where abuse or malicious intent is detected. Such restrictions may be applied automatically and take effect immediately, without human review.

7. Availability & Liability

Datacloud does its best, but promises nothing. Datacloud and its subsidiaries make no guarantee of uptime, continuity, or availability of any service. Datacloud disclaims all liability for damage — whether to property, data, or otherwise — belonging to any party, however such damage may arise.

8. Changes to These Terms

Datacloud may amend these Terms at any time. Updated Terms take effect immediately upon publication.
